The Chinese American Museum on 23^rd Street is the only museum dedicated to the cultural heritage of Chinese Americans in the Midwest. The permanent exhibition moves from immigration in the 1800s to the start of the twenty first century (2000). Special exhibitions change throughout the year to enlighten and enhance the rich tradition of culture and history that fill the two floor gallery space.
