The Gala this year promises to be an enjoyable and entertaining time with live music, entertainment programs, raffle drawings, and silent auctions - held all within the beautiful venue of the Hilton Chicago Hotel. This annual event is the largest gathering of Chinese and American business leaders in the Chicago Metropolitan area and the State of Illinois. Every year, approximately seven hundred guests, including dignitaries, government officials, and influential business and community leaders attend this event.  We anticipate this year’s gala to be our largest yet!

China's Gansu Province experienced landslides on August 8, 2010, caused by torrential rains. 127 people have been confirmed dead, 76 others injured, 2,000 missing, with the number of casualties continuing to rise.

The Chinese American Service League has spearheaded this relief effort in partnership with the America Asia Amity Association, Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, Chinese American Association of Greater Chicago, and Southwest Chinese Association. Donations can be made at www.caslservice.org.
